On
stage or in the studio, the PolyBaffle sound screen enables sounds
from various sources to be contained and/or directed as required to
suit a particular application. Reduction in off-stage instrument
spill allows front-of-house sound engineers to establish an
interference-free mix, and most guitar and bass amplifiers can be run at
optimum performance level without drowning out the rest of the band.
When recording, the PolyBaffle greatly reduces cross-spill of
instrument signals by containing speaker sound, as well as isolating mics from
external sounds. This is particularly useful when multiple
instruments are recording together.
